This week, the developers of InZOI are taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, enjoying a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before stepping away, Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim, the project lead, provided valuable insights into the much-anticipated features that fans have been requesting for the game. He detailed which of these features will be implemented and to what extent, giving the community a clearer picture of what to expect.

In InZOI, players will have the exciting opportunity to use real facial capture technology to create templates for crafting zois. This feature, which was highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further simplified, as emphasized by Kjun. The goal is to make the process of creating zois as user-friendly as possible.

Additionally, players will be able to have their own pets within the game, catering to the community's desire for more personal touches. However, this feature will not be available during the early access phase, so fans will need to exercise a bit of patience. It's worth noting that Kjun himself is a big animal lover, which adds a personal touch to this upcoming feature.

The game will also feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. While the game engine theoretically supports higher constructions, this limitation is in place to address potential performance issues, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience for all players.

In response to player feedback, InZOI will include gas stations and more engaging combat scenarios. Kjun acknowledged that the slap mechanic from early previews felt too shallow, so the team has listened and will now feature full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, adding depth and excitement to the gameplay.

Lastly, to accommodate the influx of newcomers expected to try the game, InZOI will include a comprehensive tutorial. This thoughtful addition demonstrates the developers' commitment to ensuring that players of all experience levels can enjoy the game to its fullest.

As of now, Krafton is still on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays currently anticipated. This update from Kjun has certainly heightened the anticipation and excitement surrounding the game's upcoming launch.
