inZOI, a Korean Sims-Like, Delayed to March 2025

Krafton's highly anticipated life simulator, inZOI, has been pushed back to March 28, 2025, to ensure a solid foundation. Director Hyungjin "Kjun" Kim explained the decision on the game's Discord server, emphasizing the commitment to delivering a polished and complete experience.

The delay, Kjun stated, is partly a response to positive player feedback from demos and playtests. This feedback highlighted the need to provide the most comprehensive gaming experience possible. He used the analogy of raising a child to illustrate the extensive nurturing required to develop a truly exceptional game.

"After reviewing your feedback from inZOI… we have made our decision to release inZOI in Early Access on March 28, 2025," Kjun announced. "We apologize that we could not bring you the game sooner, but this decision reflects our commitment to giving inZOI the best possible start."

Despite potential player disappointment, Krafton is prioritizing quality. This is particularly noteworthy given the character creator demo's impressive 18,657 concurrent player peak before its removal from Steam on August 25, 2024.

First revealed in Korea in 2023, inZOI is positioned as a potential rival to The Sims, promising unparalleled customization and realistic visuals.
