Marvel Rivals Season 1: A Deep Dive into the "Eternal Night Falls" Battle Pass
NetEase Games has unveiled the Darkhold Battle Pass for Marvel Rivals' Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," offering a thrilling new chapter dominated by Dracula's sinister presence. Doctor Strange falls victim to Dracula's schemes, prompting the Fantastic Four to lead the resistance. Season 1 launches January 10th at 1 AM PST.
This battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. These in-game currencies can be used for future cosmetic purchases or battle passes. The pass boasts 10 unique skins, alongside sprays, nameplates, emotes, and MVP animations. A key advantage: unfinished passes don't expire, allowing completion at any time.
The trailer showcases a selection of the impressive skins: Magneto's "King Magnus" attire (inspired by House of M), Rocket Raccoon's Western-themed "Bounty Hunter" look, and Iron Man's medieval "Blood Edge Armor," reminiscent of Dark Souls. Peni Parker sports a vibrant blue and white costume, while Namor dons a green suit accented with gold.
Season 1 Battle Pass Skins:
The season embraces a dark aesthetic, evident in Wolverine's Van Helsing-inspired skin and the blood moon casting its shadow over New York City in the new maps. Loki's "All-Butcher" skin exudes menace, and Moon Knight's black and white contrast is striking. Scarlet Witch's classic red and purple ensemble and Adam Warlock's golden armor with a crimson cape complete the dark fantasy theme.
While the battle pass is generating significant excitement, the absence of Fantastic Four skins has surprised some. Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic debut in Season 1, but their cosmetics will be available separately in the in-game shop. Nevertheless, the abundance of new content promises an engaging experience for Marvel Rivals players.
