One month after launch, Ubisoft continues to enhance Assassin’s Creed Shadows with new content. The developer recently shared their year-long roadmap on social media, detailing both free and premium additions.

The most exciting update comes in the form of free Story Drops – periodic content expansions that will introduce:

• New character abilities
• Additional allies
• Fresh world activities
• Deeper character backstories

Ubisoft also confirmed the first major expansion, The Claws of Awaji, arriving later this year. This paid DLC (included for pre-order customers) features:

• The new island region of Awaji
• Original story content set after the main game
• New enemy types
• Unique abilities for both protagonists
• An exclusive weapon for Naoe
