Jump King Mobile Launches Globally, Adds Expansions

Jump King, the punishing 2D platformer that's earned its reputation as a true test of gamer patience, has now arrived on mobile devices. Developer Nexile and publisher UKIYO have rolled out the full global release for Android and iOS following limited regional testing.

Originally launched on PC (2019) and consoles (2020), this free-to-play mobile version retains the same merciless physics that made the desktop versions infamous. After its soft launch earlier this year in the UK, Canada, Philippines and Denmark, the complete experience is now available worldwide.

Gameplay Mechanics

Players control an armored knight whose sole ability is jumping - but these aren't ordinary leaps. Each jump requires perfect timing and precision, with punishing consequences for mistakes. The auto-save feature means every failed attempt sends you tumbling back downward.

Your ultimate objective? Scale the treacherous tower to discover the legendary Smoking Hot Babe. There are no checkpoints or shortcuts - success demands flawless execution from bottom to top.

Mobile Adaptations

The touch controls maintain the original's brutal precision through a simple hold-and-release mechanic for jump charging. While patience is theoretically rewarded, the gameplay frequently devolves into frantic attempts and questionable choices.

Heart System & Expansions

The mobile version introduces a heart-based life system: Players begin with 300 hearts, losing one with each fall. Additional hearts can be earned through daily spins (10-150 hearts) or by watching ads (capped at 150 free hearts).

Two complete expansions are included: New Babe+ offers a bizarre and challenging alternate route, while Ghost of the Babe presents a haunting third chapter set beyond Philosopher's Forest.
