Many Marvel Rivals players on PC experience extended shader compilation times upon launching the game, sometimes taking several minutes. This guide offers a solution to expedite this process.

Shaders are crucial for rendering 3D graphics correctly, and improper installation can lead to significant delays or errors. While the game may be correctly installed, a workaround exists.

A community-discovered solution involves adjusting Nvidia control panel settings:

  1. Access Nvidia Control Panel: Locate and open your Nvidia control panel.
  2. Adjust Shader Cache Size: Navigate to the global settings and find the "Shader Cache Size" option.
  3. Set a Lower Value: Select a shader cache size value less than or equal to your VRAM. Note that options are limited (5GB, 10GB, 100GB). Choose the closest option to your VRAM capacity.

This adjustment often reduces shader compilation time to a few seconds and resolves "Out of VRAM memory" errors. While a permanent fix from NetEase is pending, this method provides a workaround to avoid lengthy loading times.

Marvel Rivals is available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
