Fresh off revealing Project C4, ZA/UM has unveiled a mobile version of Disco Elysium.
ZA/UM aims to introduce Disco Elysium to new players through this Android-exclusive release, offering a portable, engaging option for existing fans. The first two chapters are free, with a one-time payment to unlock the full, ad-free game.
“We want players to feel confident in their purchase decision,” ZA/UM stated. “Our team at ZA/UM, both creators and stewards of the Disco Elysium IP, is dedicated to delivering a mobile experience that reflects our commitment to quality.”
Studio head Denis Havel emphasized that the mobile version targets TikTok users.
“We aim to hook TikTok users with concise bursts of captivating story, visuals, and sound, delivering a fresh, immersive entertainment experience,” Havel said.
ZA/UM paired the announcement with a debut trailer and screenshots for the mobile version. The game features new 360-degree scenes crafted to place players at the heart of Revachol, enhanced by full voiceover for a richer, character-driven experience.
Here’s the official description:
This reimagined version of the acclaimed psychological RPG Disco Elysium is tailored for today’s mobile users. Optimized for short play sessions, this story-driven adventure lets players jump in anytime, anywhere on their mobile devices.
Narrative Lead Chris Priestman described the mobile version as “what audiobooks aspire to be,” designed for quick, engaging play sessions.
Disco Elysium launched on Android in summer 2025.
Notably, while ZA/UM retains its name, many original Disco Elysium team members have left the studio. Several former ZA/UM developers have departed since the game’s release, with some now working on spiritual successors.
