Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a crucial method of restoring health to full capacity without relying solely on food and potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.

Securing a Bed

Early in the game, acquiring your own bed is vital. Completing either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline during the "Wedding Crashers" quest will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov offers a closer starting point. After finishing the smithing tutorial with Radovan, you'll gain access to a bed in the room adjacent to the forge.

This bed will be marked on your world map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to heal.

Utilizing Campsites

When immediate access to your bed isn't feasible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game's world offer alternative resting spots. While some may be occupied by bandits requiring prior engagement, others are unoccupied. These campsites are marked on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows for sleep. Note that the comfort level is lower than a proper bed, but it serves the purpose of health restoration.

Sleeping in NPCs' beds is a last resort; getting caught will likely lead to a confrontation with guards.
