Among Us 3D: A First-Person Perspective on Deception
Innersloth, the creators of the wildly popular Among Us, are taking the game to new heights with Among Us 3D. Building on the success of the VR adaptation, Among Us 3D delivers the classic social deduction experience in a fully immersive first-person perspective, playable on traditional gaming setups without the need for a VR headset.
The core gameplay remains familiar, but reimagined. A recent teaser trailer hints at the exciting changes, showcasing tasks, emergency meetings, and sabotage from a character's first-person viewpoint. Players eager to experience this new perspective can participate in a free demo during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival.
Currently slated for a PC release, Among Us 3D will be optimized for keyboard and mouse controls, featuring a redesigned interface for improved usability. Innersloth has confirmed cross-play functionality between Among Us 3D and Among Us VR, allowing players to team up across both versions. The original 2D Among Us will remain a separate experience.
Adding to the excitement, Innersloth plans to introduce a new in-game currency, Stardust, within the coming months. Stardust will unlock expanded customization options, offering players more ways to personalize their avatars and contribute to the game's continued growth. While a precise release date is yet to be revealed, the anticipation for Among Us 3D is building rapidly.
