Pokemon GO Community Day Classic for January 2025 Announced

Niantic has revealed Ralts as the star Pokémon for January's Community Day Classic! This guide details the event, including bonuses and in-app purchases.

January's Community Day Classic: Ralts Takes Center Stage

On January 25th, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (local time), trainers will have heightened encounter rates for Ralts, including its shiny form.

A special research story for Ralts is available for $2 USD. Completing this research unlocks a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and three Ralts encounters with unique Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds.

Evolving Ralts into Kirlia during the event (or within five hours afterward) yields a Gardevoir or Gallade boasting the powerful Charged Attack "Synchronoise" (80 power in Trainer Battles, Gyms, and Raids).

Timed Research offers 4 Sinnoh Stones and a Ralts encounter with a Dual Destiny-themed background. Unlike the main Community Day event, this research remains accessible for a week post-event.

Additional bonuses, such as reduced egg hatching distance, are also included. December's event is a two-day special featuring multiple Pokémon.
