Pokémon Card Pocket Marks 1st Year With Key New Features

With Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket approaching its first anniversary, the developers are rolling out a suite of new features. By month's end, three major updates will arrive, designed to revitalize the game's popularity.

What New Features Are Coming to Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket?

The first addition is a new sharing feature. It allows you to send one card per day to each friend. You can share cards of one- to four-diamond rarity, letting you gift even your most prized pulls. Friends can then select one card per day from the gifts they receive.

The second major update significantly expands the list of tradable cards. While trading was previously limited, this is finally changing. Players will soon be able to trade cards from the newest booster packs as well.

Beyond the standard one- to four-diamond and one-star cards, the tradable pool will now include two-star cards and Shiny 1–Shiny 2 rarity cards. This change should help dedicated players complete their collections more effectively.

The third feature enhances the Wonder Pick mechanic, which could be unpredictable for players seeking specific cards. Cards from the latest expansion that you don't own will now appear more frequently, boosting your chances of finishing new sets.

Each card in Wonder Pick will also show how many copies you currently own, making it easier to track your progress and avoid unnecessary duplicates. Check out the latest video for a detailed overview of all these features.

These updates aim to attract new players to Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket and potentially win back former fans. The game launched strongly on October 30, 2024, but later faced challenges due to limitations in its mobile version.
