Sony Announces PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for August 2025

Sony has unveiled the PlayStation Plus monthly game lineup for August 2025, as the company continues its celebrations marking 15 years of PS Plus.

PS Plus first launched on June 29, 2010, and last month featured major titles such as Diablo IV and The King of Fighters XV, along with the indie hit Jusant, all available through the subscription service. Now, another trio of games is set to arrive — alongside a special collection of 15th anniversary avatars.

"We’re thrilled to share a few more surprises!" said PlayStation’s director of game services Adam Michel. "Starting August 5, PlayStation Plus members can unlock a unique set of 15th Anniversary Avatars, featuring fan-favorites like Cyberpunk 2077, Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, God of War Ragnarök, and Twisted Metal — all completely free."

Here’s what’s coming, all available to play starting August 5.

My Hero One's Justice 2 | PS4

The month kicks off with Soulslike action in Lies of P, a Pinocchio-inspired adventure that received strong praise in IGN’s 8/10 review. Next is the legendary survival title DayZ, a demanding 60-player experience that inspired a generation of battle royale games. Finally, there’s My Hero One's Justice 2, a 3D arena fighter and sequel to the popular spin-off, perfect for fans of the My Hero Academia anime.

Don’t forget — you have until August 4 to add Diablo IV, The King of Fighters XV, and Jusant to your PlayStation library before they’re removed from the current PS Plus lineup.
