Poncle, the UK-based developer behind the hit roguelike, Vampire Survivors, has offered a progress update on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions. Following May's release of the game's latest expansion and update, Poncle clarified the PlayStation port's timeline.
Initially announced in April for a Summer 2024 release, Vampire Survivors—a critically acclaimed top-down shooter released in December 2021—is experiencing some delays in its PS4 and PS5 rollout. While a precise release date remains unannounced, Poncle assures fans it will be shared as soon as possible. The delay is attributed to the studio's unfamiliarity with PlayStation's submission process and ongoing work on the Trophy system, aiming for a polished achievement experience similar to the game's over 200 Steam achievements.
