EA has unveiled an exciting new tool called Battlefield Labs, which serves as an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the Battlefield series. The developers have also given fans a sneak peek with a brief glimpse of gameplay from the current pre-alpha version.

Within Battlefield Labs, invited participants will have the chance to experience and test core mechanics and concepts. However, not all of these elements are guaranteed to appear in the final game. Before gaining access to the various gameplay features, participants will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The modes available for testing will include Conquest and Breakthrough. The initial focus of the testing phases will be on combat and the game's destruction system, with subsequent phases dedicated to balance testing.

Pre-registration is now open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. EA plans to send out invitations to a few thousand players in the coming weeks, with intentions to extend the program to more regions in the future.

The new Battlefield game has officially reached a "key stage of development," as announced by the creators. Currently, there is no official release date set for the title. The game is being developed collaboratively by four teams: DICE, Motive, Criterion Games, and Ripple Effect.
