Pity System in Girls

Developed by Sunborn, *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium* is a captivating free-to-play tactical RPG that you can enjoy on both PC and mobile devices. Given its gacha mechanics, a common question among players is whether the pity counter carries over between banners. Let's dive into the specifics of how pity works in this game.

Will Pity Carry Over to the Next Banner in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium?

Yes, the pity counter and pulls made on one limited banner in *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium* will indeed carry over to the next limited banner. For instance, during the game's global launch, the Suomi and Ullrid limited banners ran simultaneously. Your pity counter would increase across both banners, no matter which one you chose to pull on. If you were one pull away from pity on the Suomi banner, you could switch to the Ullrid banner for your next pull and have a 50-50 chance of obtaining Ullrid immediately.

This feature extends to future limited banners as well, as confirmed by players on the Chinese servers via Reddit. Once the Suomi and Ullrid banners conclude, your accumulated pity will transfer to the next limited banner introduced into the game.

It's important to note, however, that the pity does not carry over between limited and standard banners. You cannot accumulate pulls on the standard banner to be one away from pity, then switch to the limited banner to secure the rate-up character.

Additionally, while the hard pity is set at 80 pulls, the soft pity mechanism begins at 58 pulls. If you haven't obtained an SSR unit by your 58th pull, your chances of landing one will incrementally increase starting from the 59th pull, until you hit the hard pity at 80 pulls if your luck remains elusive.

This clarification should help demystify how pity works across banners in *Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium*. For more insights and strategies, be sure to visit The Escapist, where you'll find our comprehensive reroll guide, tier list, and instructions on locating the mailbox.
