Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is almost here! Niantic has unveiled all the exciting additions coming March 6th, 2025. This season promises new challenges, monsters, weapons, and a revamped Season Pass.

Pre-Season Sneak Peek

Before the main event, get ready for the arrival of the Chatacabra on February 28th! This marks its debut before its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Upon Season 5's launch, Glavenus and Arzuros will also join the hunt.

Weapon Enhancements

Expect significant balance adjustments to weapons, aiming for increased viability and enjoyment across all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving tail-breaking efficiency. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with enhanced power and more satisfying combos.

The Guard skill is also receiving a much-needed upgrade. Previously negligible, increased Guard skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further details on these and other weapon adjustments will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Celebrating 1.5 Years of Monster Hunter Now!

On March 17th, a brand-new feature arrives to commemorate the game's 1.5-year anniversary! Hunters can exchange special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards, including Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
