Marvel Rivals Season 1 Mid-Season Update: No Rank Reset!

A recent announcement from NetEase Games has clarified the much-debated topic of a rank reset in Marvel Rivals Season 1. Initially, a mid-season reset was planned for February 21, 2025, coinciding with the release of The Thing and Human Torch. However, due to significant player feedback expressing concerns about the frequency of resets and the added pressure it created, NetEase has reversed this decision.

The Marvel Rivals team stated in a blog post that there will be no rank reset at the start of the second half of Season 1. Players will retain their current rank and score. To earn new rewards, including a Gold rank costume and various Crests of Honor, players simply need to complete 10 competitive matches and meet the specified conditions by the end of the season.

This decision is a positive response to player concerns and demonstrates NetEase's commitment to community feedback. It offers players more time to climb the ranks and compete at the highest levels.

Season 1 Mid-Season Update Details:
