After Four Years of Launch, Alchemy Stars Shutting Down and Getting an Offline Version

Last month, Tencent and Level Infinite made a significant announcement about Alchemy Stars, a game that hit mobile devices back in June 2021. They've decided to transition Alchemy Stars into an offline version, allowing players to relive the story even after the official shutdown of its live services.

When Is the Game Wrapping Up Its Services?

Alchemy Stars will officially end its live service run on January 24th, 2025. In preparation for the offline version, the developers have scheduled maintenance on January 10th from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT to release version 1.43.0. It's essential to update your game post-maintenance to access the local data save feature, which is your golden ticket to preserving all your progress. You'll see a data save button on the main page—simply tap it, and you'll be directed to a page where you can secure your user data.

You have the opportunity to save your data multiple times, but remember, this option will only be available until January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Post this deadline, any unsaved data will be lost forever.

Once Alchemy Stars shifts to its special offline edition, expect no further updates. Also, if you decide to delete the app, you won't be able to redownload it—reinstalling won't be an option either. The offline version will enable you to explore your saved data, dive back into the story, and continue upgrading your units.
