Following your Fire Canyon adventure, Precursor Basin presents a less perilous, yet arguably more challenging, Zoomer-based level in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. This guide helps you conquer its demanding objectives and collect every reward.

Herding Moles: A Gentle Start

Begin by guiding four blind moles back to their burrows using your Zoomer. Strategic nudges will send them scurrying towards their homes. Utilize the Zoomer's hop for sharp turns to keep them in pursuit. Reward: A Power Cell from the Geologist in Rock Village.

Catching Flying Lurkers

These elusive creatures scatter at the Zoomer's approach. Intercept their flight paths, strategically cutting them off at turns (as shown in the images below). The final Lurker yields another Power Cell.

Conquering the Gorge Race

Beat the 45-second record on the Gorge race track (near the Basin entrance). Utilize Lurkers for extra height, and strategically grab Blue Eco boosts to maximize speed. Avoid Dark Eco Crates. Master the hop-turn for tight corners. A successful run earns a Power Cell from the Gambler. A time under 40 seconds unlocks a trophy.

Retrieving the Lake Power Cell

Starting from the slope (Image 1, familiar from the Lurker chase), navigate the narrow bridge and use hops to cross gaps between islands (Images 2-5). A final hop from the elevated position will land you the Power Cell.

Healing Dark Eco Plants

Charge your Zoomer with Green Eco and swiftly drive over the purple plants to cure them. Quick maneuvers and efficient Green Eco replenishment are key. Reward: Another Power Cell.

Purple Precursor Ring Challenge

Navigate the appearing Purple Precursor Rings before time runs out. The most challenging section involves a mid-air ring off a natural bridge. A well-timed hop will carry you through.

Blue Precursor Ring Challenge

The Blue Precursor Rings present a greater challenge. The course starts near the Lake Power Cell slope. Master tricky hops, especially over the lake and off a hill near the Dark Eco plants. Precise maneuvering around pillars and careful navigation of narrow paths are crucial. The final ring hangs over a slope's edge. Reward: A Power Cell.

Freeing the Scout Flies

Locate and collect all seven Scout Flies scattered throughout Precursor Basin. Locations include near the mole holes, on elevated areas, and near the Blue Rings. Reward: A Power Cell.
