The buzz around a new *Fortnite* season usually centers on map changes. But Chapter 6, Season 2: Lawless, introduces a fun new feature: *Fortnite* Moments. This guide explains how to get and use them.
After the big update, amidst new Quests, Item Shop additions, and the new Battle Pass, you'll find a subtle addition in the main menu: Moments. These let you customize your matches with background music, enhancing both the pre-game jump from the Battle Bus and the triumphant Victory Royale celebration. The best part? You choose the music from your own library.
To add your personal soundtrack, go to the Locker tab in the main menu and scroll down to the Moments section. Select either Intro Music (for the Battle Bus jump) or Celebration Music (for Victory Royales). Then, browse your Jam Tracks library and pick your perfect tunes.
If your library lacks the right vibe, expand your options in the Item Shop's "Take Your Stage" section. Over 300 Jam Tracks are available, featuring artists like Metallica, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, and Kendrick Lamar.
Each song costs 500 V-Bucks (approximately $4.50). For better value, consider the Music Pass, which includes multiple Jam Tracks, instruments, and accessories. The current Icon is Hatsune Miku, but the Pass also features songs from Jennifer Lopez and CAKE.
Alternatively, you can use the in-game radio, but where's the fun in that?
That's how to get and use Fortnite Moments. For more, check out the rumored collaborations for the Lawless season.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
