What are Luma Eggs?

Luma Eggs are collectible items scattered across Luma Island. Incubating these eggs yields Lumas, adorable creatures that assist you on your farm and adventures. Each egg holds a surprise; the type of Luma hatched is random, adding an element of excitement to the process.

Locating Luma Eggs

Luma Eggs are primarily found in two locations: the island's mysterious Ruins and behind Shrine offering doors. Each Ruin and Shrine within a specific area contains a single Luma Egg.

Here's a breakdown of Luma Egg distribution by area:

Ruin eggs are located deep within each Ruin structure, typically in the final chambers. Shrine eggs require Tepid Offering Crystals to unlock, found in challenging-to-reach spots within each area.

Hatching Luma Eggs

Once acquired, Luma Eggs require incubation. This often triggers a quest, the timing of which varies by profession. To hatch the eggs, build a Luma Incubator using the blueprint purchased from Balthazar's shop (500 coins).

The Luma Incubator requires:

Combine Luma Life (crafted using various island essences) with a Mysterious Egg in the Incubator to hatch your Luma. Unhatched Lumas appear as "Mysterious Creature." After a short wait, your new companion will emerge! Remember to pet your new Luma to strengthen your bond before it can assist you.
