Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Crossover: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited Cyberpunk 2077's arrival on the popular battle royale platform, a partnership that finally materialized to much fanfare. While the item set proved a hit, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked online debate and speculation regarding CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The truth, however, is far less complex.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and the decision-maker behind the Fortnite crossover, offered a straightforward explanation. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which was predetermined to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. Opting for the female V was a logical choice given Johnny's gender, and also reflected Mills' personal preference.

Thus, the omission of male V was a matter of practical constraints, not a deliberate decision. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier inclusion of John Wick.
