Paradox Interactive has revealed the first details of their upcoming Crusader Kings 3 expansion, focusing on the unique challenges and opportunities of nomadic rulers. This DLC introduces a revolutionary governance system tailored to nomadic life, centered around a new currency: "herd." The size of your herd directly impacts your authority, influencing military might, cavalry unit composition, relationships with your subjects, and other crucial gameplay aspects.

The nomadic lifestyle necessitates constant movement, and this expansion reflects that reality. A chieftain's decisions regarding relocation will be driven by strategic choices: negotiate peaceful settlements with local populations or forcefully displace them to secure resources and territory.

Further enhancing the nomadic experience, rulers will command mobile yurts, much like adventurer camps. These transportable yurts can be upgraded with various components, providing significant advantages.
