Crunchyroll's mobile release of the critically acclaimed rhythm roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, is now available on Android! Previously released on PC and with prior mobile iterations, this enhanced version, simply titled "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," boasts a wealth of new content.
What awaits you in the Crypt?
Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, venturing into a rhythmically challenging crypt to rescue her missing parent. This roguelike experience offers diverse gameplay with 15 unique characters, each presenting their own set of skills and obstacles. The game’s soundtrack by Danny Baranowsky provides an electrifying backdrop to the action. Every move, attack, and even enemy encounter is synchronized to the music, adding a thrilling layer of difficulty. Failure to maintain the beat results in immediate peril.
More Than Just a Port:
This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added significant enhancements, including remixes, fresh content, and even exciting crossover skins featuring characters from the popular anime series Danganronpa. Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support further enhance the experience. Future updates will include DLC featuring Hatsune Miku and the Synchrony expansion.
Available now on the Google Play Store for Crunchyroll subscribers, Crypt of the NecroDancer offers a compelling blend of rhythm and roguelike gameplay. Don't miss out! Also, check out our other news for the latest on the Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
