Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool simplifies the often-grueling camo unlock process. This guide explains how it works.
The patch notes highlight Camo Challenge Tracking as a significant improvement. It lets players manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card challenges concurrently. But the real benefit lies in its "Near Completion" function, providing invaluable assistance on the path to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter camos.
This feature eliminates the need to constantly check the main menu for progress. Players can select their target camos, monitor their progress in real-time during matches, and receive notifications about nearing completion, even for untracked challenges.

To track a camo or calling card challenge, navigate to the desired challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracker. This allows for convenient progress monitoring during gameplay.
The system also automatically highlights challenges nearing completion, even if not manually added. These "near complete" challenges are also visible in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.
Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain necessary for mastery camos.
This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the overwhelming number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened, implementing more efficient methods for earning and equipping camos, enhancing the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC
