Marvel Rivals' Midnight Features Event Hints at Blade's Arrival and Reveals Ultron's Abilities

Marvel Rivals' Midnight Features event has unveiled official artwork of Blade, fueling speculation about his potential arrival as a playable character in Season 2. Season 1 is currently underway, offering new maps, a new game mode, and a substantial battle pass.

The Midnight Features quests, accessible through the Season menu, are divided into five chapters, each with three quests. Completing these quests rewards players with Chrono Tokens, Units, and a free Thor skin. All five chapters are expected to be available by January 17th.

Chapter 3's reward is a Gallery Card depicting Blade battling Dracula, Season 1's antagonist. While Blade's presence in the game files had been previously rumored, this artwork marks the first official confirmation from NetEase Games. Season 1's narrative positions Blade and Doctor Strange as key threats removed from the battlefield by Dracula.

Blade's Potential Role in Season 2:

The artwork strongly suggests Blade's introduction as a playable character in Season 2. Fan theories anticipate The Fantastic Four defeating Dracula to rescue New York City, Blade, and Doctor Strange, concluding Season 1. Many believe Blade would excel as a Duelist, potentially featuring a transformation ability similar to Magik and Hulk's ultimate abilities, enhancing strength, modifying attacks, and granting wall-hack capabilities.

Ultron's Leaked Abilities:

Beyond Blade, leaks from Season 0 revealed Ultron's complete ability set, suggesting a Strategist role with healing and support capabilities. While initially expected in Season 1, his introduction seems delayed following The Fantastic Four's arrival. It's crucial to remember that leaks remain unconfirmed until official announcements.

The abundance of upcoming content fuels optimism for Marvel Rivals' future.
