Kai: Encountered early in Dawnshore, near Paradis, Kai, a former mercenary with a hidden tender heart, is your first true companion. A formidable tank in combat, he delivers substantial damage and utilizes fire abilities to overcome environmental obstacles, revealing hidden paths and treasures. His skills include:

• Fire and Ire (Active): A powerful blunderbuss shot that stuns and taunts a single enemy.
• Unbending Defense (Active): Regenerates health and significantly reduces incoming damage.
• Leap of Daring (Active): A devastating leap attack that stuns and taunts nearby foes.
• Second Win (Passive): Revives Kai with 50% health upon death.

Marius: Found in Dawnshore, Marius shares history with Kai. A skilled hunter and tracker, his abilities reflect his expertise. His Hunter Sense helps locate loot and crafting materials, while his combat prowess utilizes bow and arrow, daggers, and nature-based traps. His abilities include:

• Binding Roots (Active): Roots an enemy in place.
• Heart Seeker (Active): A piercing shot that ignores obstacles.
• Shadow Step (Active): A triple-strike attack after vanishing in smoke.
• Wounding Shots (Passive): Inflicts bleeding on enemies.

Giatta: Recruited later in the Emerald Stair region, Giatta is an animancer whose magic plays a crucial role in the main quest. She provides support in combat through healing, shielding, and buffs, and her Spectral Jolt ability activates Essence Generators to unlock hidden areas. Her abilities include:
