Stronghold Castles Now for Android!

Firefly Studios, renowned for the popular Stronghold series, has launched a new mobile game: Stronghold Castles. This latest installment retains the series' core gameplay, offering players the chance to build, farm, and engage in thrilling medieval battles.

Fortify Your Fortress!

In Stronghold Castles, you assume the role of a medieval lord or lady, tasked with transforming a humble village into a prosperous kingdom. Manage resources, oversee farming and mining operations, and even oversee weapon production. Ensure your peasants' well-being (through taxation and… other methods!), while constructing a magnificent castle, whether it's a trap-laden wooden fortress or a formidable stone behemoth.

Once your defenses are in place, prepare for intense PvP battles! Command your knights, archers, and men-at-arms to conquer rival lords, plunder their resources, and ultimately restore your Manor Hall to its former glory. Classic Stronghold enemies—rats, pigs, snakes, and wolves—return to challenge you. Engage in strategic, fast-paced battles, laying siege to enemy castles and using your spoils to enhance your kingdom.

The Stronghold series is a celebrated collection of real-time strategy games set in the medieval era. The original Stronghold (2001) is joined by several popular spin-offs, including Crusader (2002), Crusader Extreme (2008), and Kingdoms (2012).

Stronghold Castles marks the series' debut on mobile platforms and is available for free on the Google Play Store.
