Stellar Blade, initially met with some minor controversy regarding its character design, quickly became a critical and commercial darling. Boasting an 82 average score on OpenCritic and numerous awards and nominations, the game's fast-paced combat, stunning visuals, and memorable soundtrack have resonated strongly with players. The game's continued popularity is further fueled by several high-profile collaborations.

A heartwarming video shared on Shift Up's Twitter showcased employees receiving their PlayStation 5 Pros. All 300+ employees received the console, along with the substantial cash bonus. The company stated the bonuses were intended to incentivize and motivate its workforce. This generosity comes on the heels of a highly successful July 2024 initial public offering (IPO) that raised $320 million, making it the second-largest in South Korea that year.
