Smite 2 Free-to-Play Launch Date Announced Alongside New Character

Smite 2's Open Beta Launch: January 14th, 2025

Get ready! Smite 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the popular MOBA, launches its free-to-play open beta on January 14th, 2025. This marks a significant milestone for the Unreal Engine 5-powered game, initially unveiled in Alpha in 2024.

This open beta brings a wealth of new content, including:

• Aladdin: The first God from the Tales of Arabia pantheon, a Magical Assassin and Jungler with unique wall-running and trapping abilities, joins the roster.
• Returning Favorites: Popular Gods from the original Smite, such as Mulan, Geb, Ullr, and Agni, are back with updated skill sets.
• Expanded God Roster: The initial 14 Gods from the Alpha will expand to nearly 50 by the end of January 2025. Expect 20 of the 45 dynamic Gods to feature Aspects at launch.
• New Game Modes: Experience the thrill of Joust (3v3) and Duel (1v1), both featuring a new Arthurian-themed map with Teleporters and Stealth Grass.
• Aspects System: Add strategic depth with Aspects, allowing players to sacrifice a God's ability for a powerful enhancement. For instance, Athena can trade her ally shielding teleport for a damaging teleport to enemies.
• Quality-of-Life Improvements: Enjoy enhanced gameplay with Role Guides, helpful new player messages, PC text chat, an improved item store, death recaps, and more.
