NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City, following a Doctor Strange mishap, sets the stage for the Fantastic Four to take center stage. The season runs from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.

This season introduces the Fantastic Four to the game's roster. Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are available at launch, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving in a mid-season update. Leaks suggest Human Torch will be a Duelist and The Thing a Vanguard class.

Players can obtain free Peni Parker (Blue Tarantula skin) and Scarlet Witch (Emporium Matron skin) cosmetics by completing quests and earning Chrono Tokens within the Season 1 battle pass. While a full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), these skins are accessible without purchasing the premium version. Peni Parker's skin is on page three, featuring a blue and white color scheme, while Scarlet Witch's crimson and purple Emporium Matron skin is on page nine. A free Scarlet Witch emote is also available, but her MVP animation requires the premium pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.
