The Cell Garden is a crucial area within your Panopticon in Freedom Wars Remastered, which you'll encounter early in the main storyline. Beyond its initial introduction, the Cell Garden becomes a valuable space for safely farming resources, offering a less risky alternative to operations.
Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, and the process to locate each one remains consistent across different levels. Here’s a guide on how to find any Cell Garden and understand its resource farming mechanics.
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins when Mattias tasks you with investigating a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, head to Level 2: 2-A000's main cell block. From your cell, look to the left corner where you'll find a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with it to be transported to 2-E165, the same location where you encountered Enzo.
Upon entering 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will transport you to 2-G100. From 2-G100, proceed to the farthest room, where another device awaits to take you to the Cell Garden.
The route to the Cell Garden is uniform across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces the travel time. After completing the main quest related to the Cell Garden, you can access any Cell Garden at your convenience. However, it's wise to first acquire a useful Entitlement.
Each device leading to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.
The Cell Garden's functionality during the main story mission differs from its typical use. Here’s how it operates in regular visits:
To enhance your Cell Garden experience, you can buy Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades extend your stay, with the first one allowing two minutes, available after reaching CODE level 3. This is particularly useful as some layouts may include more complex puzzles, making resource collection more challenging.
