TRAGsoft is developing a new roguelike twist on its popular monster-taming RPG, Coromon. The studio has revealed Coromon: Rogue Planet, slated for release in 2025 across numerous platforms, including Android. A new trailer accompanies the announcement, offering a glimpse of what's in store.
Game Features:
Coromon: Rogue Planet blends classic turn-based combat with roguelite elements. Players explore the ever-changing Veluan wilderness, featuring over ten biomes that shift with each playthrough.
A unique "rescue and recruit" system allows players to unlock seven playable characters, each with distinct playstyles, by assisting them in the wild. Over 130 monsters await, each boasting unique elemental affinities, personalities, and skills.
The game incorporates a meta-progression system, enabling continuous character and equipment upgrades. Players gather resources and participate in an interstellar spaceship mystery alongside other players.
Anticipation Builds:
The announcement has generated considerable excitement among Coromon fans. The gameplay shown is certainly promising. While a precise release date remains undisclosed, the official Steam page provides further details.
Pre-registrations are anticipated before the year's end or early next year. Until then, mobile gamers can only speculate on the game's mobile experience.
