February 2025 in Pokémon GO is packed with exciting events, from Lunar New Year celebrations to a Community Day featuring Karrablast & Shelmet, and even a Dynamax Moltres appearance. Let's break down the schedule:

Lunar New Year: January 29 – February 2

Ring in the Year of the Snake with increased spawn rates for snake-themed Pokémon like Ekans, Onix, Snivy, Darumaka, Dunsparce, Gyarados, and Dratini (Shiny forms available for all!). Enjoy boosted Lucky Pokémon trade chances, increased Lucky Friend opportunities, and daily Field Research tasks rewarding PokéCoins. 2KM Eggs will also hatch Makuhita, Nosepass, Meditite, Duskull, and Skorupi (Shiny possibilities!).

Legendary Flight Dynamax Moltres: February 3 – 9

Dynamax Moltres makes its debut! Catch it as a Max Monday boss at Power Spots on February 3rd (6 PM - 7 PM local time). Afterward, it remains available until February 9th, though at fewer locations due to the concurrent appearance of Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble as Max Battle bosses (until February 10th).

Karrablast & Shelmet Community Day: February 9

This dual Community Day (2 PM - 5 PM local time) offers increased Karrablast and Shelmet encounters, boosted evolution bonuses, and enhanced Shiny odds. Evolve your catches by February 16th (10 PM local time) to get an Escavalier with Razor Shell or an Accelgor with Energy Ball. A paid Timed Research option is available for added benefits.

Beloved Buddies: February 11 – 15
