Fortnite's cosmetic items are hugely popular, with players eager to sport the latest skins. Epic Games rotates its existing skins in and out of the in-game store, often resulting in lengthy waits for favorites. While some, like Master Chief (after a two-year absence), and even the original Renegade Raider and Aerial Assault Trooper eventually reappeared, the future of Arcane's Jinx and Vi skins remains uncertain.
The return of Jinx and Vi has been a highly requested feature since Arcane's debut, especially after Season 2. However, Riot Games co-founder Marc Merrill recently dampened expectations during a stream. While acknowledging the decision rests with Riot, he indicated the collaboration was limited to the first season. Following online disappointment, he promised to discuss the possibility with his team, but offered no guarantees.
The likelihood of these skins returning seems slim. While the potential revenue would be beneficial to Riot, the risk of players switching from League of Legends to Fortnite due to the skins is likely a major concern, particularly given League of Legends' current challenges.
While future circumstances could change, managing expectations is advisable for now.
