The game’s story is penned by Ryukishi07, celebrated for his work on the psychological horror visual novel When They Cry (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni). His knack for suspense and layered narratives has already ignited excitement among fans of both Silent Hill and his previous projects.

The game’s atmosphere is set to be enriched by composers Dai and Xaki, known for their anime music contributions. Dai’s entry into the industry is a unique story. Initially a fan, he wrote to Ryukishi07 critiquing the use of stock music in a game. Rather than ignoring the feedback, Ryukishi07 invited him to compose an original soundtrack. Dai’s talent shone through, leading to a lasting collaboration.
