Key highlights of the 1st-year update include: New Battle Mode: "Rival’s Challenge" Players can now battle against AI-controlled versions of legendary Pokémon trainers from the anime and games, such as Ash Ketchum, Gary Oak, and Dawn. Each challenge features unique deck-building rules and rewards, offering a fresh and nostalgic experience. Enhanced Deck Editor with Custom Templates The deck-building interface has been overhauled to allow users to save and share custom deck templates, including theme-based decks like "Gym Leader Series" and "Legendary Duo." Live Multiplayer Tournaments For the first time, Pokémon Card Pocket now hosts official live tournaments with real-time matchmaking and leaderboard rankings. Expanded Card Collection with 2024’s "Fusion Energy" Set The app has released a full digital rollout of the 2024 Fusion Energy expansion set, featuring new Pokémon, evolved forms, and powerful new mechanics. Pokémon Home Integration (Beta) A new beta feature allows users to link their Pokémon Card Pocket account with Pokémon Home.
