This OBD2 engine diagnostics tool utilizes a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth ELM327 adapter to access and display real-time data from your vehicle's electronic control units (ECUs). The app provides graphical representations of this data, allowing for saving and later review. It also reads and clears Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) or engine fault codes.
Users can set minimum/maximum thresholds for each sensor/PID, triggering an alarm when exceeded. Compatibility includes both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi ELM327 OBD adapters, with a recommendation for versions 1.5 to 2.1 (older versions may experience issues).
Important Note: ELM327 compatibility is limited to vehicles with OBD2 support:
Beyond standard OBDII parameters, the app supports specialized parameters for various car brands, including (but not limited to): BMW, BYD, Chery, Chrysler/Dodge, Citroen, Daewoo, Fiat, Ford, Geely, GM/Chevrolet/Pontiac, GreatWall, Honda, Jeep, KIA, Hyundai, Land Rover, Lifan, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Skoda, SsangYong, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, VAG, Volvo, VAZ, GAZ, ZAZ, and UAZ. Specific supported PIDs vary by model. For easier selection, users can filter PID types in the "Settings / PID types" menu.
Some car brands (e.g., certain Mitsubishi models) offer system control features (e.g., activating cooling fans or fuel pumps). For accessing MUT parameters and controlling actuators on CAN-bus equipped Mitsubishi vehicles (Montero/Pajero IV, Outlander 2, etc.), users should create a profile using the ISO 9141-2 protocol. Other profiles should use ISO 15765-4 CAN (11bit 500K) or automatic protocol selection. Note that not all Mitsubishi CAN-bus models support ISO 9141-2. Custom parameter creation is also possible.
