How to Enter Your Code

1. Repeatedly press the pre-determined button 1. Stop as soon as you see the code digit on the screen.
2. Repeat the same process with buttons 2, 3, and 4.
3. Ensure you have entered the radio code correctly and confirm. The confirm button may be 5, *, or > depending on your radio model (e.g., 5 for Ford 6000CD, * for Sony, > for most VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat).

My Radio Says SAFE/LOCKED/WAIT/ERROR

All radios have a protection system to prevent brute-force code entry. After three unsuccessful attempts, the radio may block. Specific instructions vary by brand:

Ford: If you see "WAIT," leave the radio powered on for 30 minutes. "LOCKED" or "LOCKED10" may require holding button 6 for ten seconds. "LOCKED13" indicates a semi-permanent block requiring dealer assistance.

VW (Volkswagen): Three incorrect attempts result in "SAFE" or "SAFE2." Leave the unit on for 60 minutes to re-enter the code.
