Xbox's Developer_Direct is back! Get ready for a January 23rd, 2025 showcase of highly anticipated 2025 titles, including a mystery game. Here's what we know:

The Developer_Direct will feature four games, offering in-depth looks at development and creators. Three titles have been revealed:

• South of Midnight (Compulsion Games): An action-adventure game set in a mystical American South, following Hazel's journey to rescue her mother and mend a broken world. Expect magical combat and a captivating story. Launching in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S and Steam.

• Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Sandfall Interactive): A turn-based RPG with real-time combat elements. Players will join Gustave and Lune in their quest to stop the Paintress and prevent the annual erasure of people. Launching in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Steam, and Epic Store.

• DOOM: The Dark Ages (id Software): A prequel to Doom (2016), this single-player FPS plunges players into a techno-medieval world. Expect intense combat with a new arsenal, including a throwable bladed shield. Launching in 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Steam.
