Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snowy Start and Stellar Additions

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat this January 2025! The service kicks off the month with a strong showing, bolstering its already impressive catalog.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a thrilling skiing game featuring co-op and PvP modes, drops on January 21st as a day-one title. This means Ultimate subscribers can experience the slopes immediately upon release, a welcome addition after a relatively quiet first half of the month. The initial release will be exclusive to the Ultimate tier.

The first half of January saw several Ultimate-exclusive titles transition to the Standard tier, along with the addition of Diablo (PC Game Pass) and EA Sports UFC 5 (Ultimate). However, the second half of the month more than compensates for this slower start.

Beyond Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, January 2025's Game Pass offerings include a trio of additional day-one releases:

• Eternal Strands: Launching January 28th, this action-adventure game from Yellow Brick Games (led by BioWare veteran Mike Laidlaw) boasts a distinct Zelda-esque feel.
• Sniper Elite: Resistance: Arriving January 30th, offering a different kind of thrill.
• Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector: Completing the month's strong finish on January 31st.
