Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: New Arrivals and Departures

Microsoft has unveiled its first Xbox Game Pass lineup for 2025, confirming several anticipated titles and announcing some departures. The January additions bring a diverse range of games, catering to various tastes.

New Games Arriving in January 2025:

Microsoft's January 7th announcement highlighted seven new additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalog. Road 96, a narrative adventure game, is immediately available across all tiers (including PC Game Pass). This marks a return for Road 96, previously available on the service.

The remaining six titles will arrive later in the month:

• January 8th: Lightyear Frontier (Preview), My Time at Sandrock, Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders, Rolling Hills.
• January 14th: UFC 5, Diablo.

Note that Diablo will be exclusive to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, while UFC 5 is a Game Pass Ultimate exclusive. The other titles are accessible with a standard subscription.

Game Pass Ultimate Perks:

Alongside the new games, several Game Pass Ultimate perks launched on January 7th, including weapon charms for Apex Legends and DLC packs for First Descendant, Vigor, and Metaball.

Departing Games (January 15th):

To make room for the new arrivals, six games are leaving Xbox Game Pass on January 15th: Common'hood, Escape Academy, Exoprimal, Figment, Insurgency Sandstorm, and Those Who Remain.
