Exciting news for Call of Duty Warzone fans: the beloved Verdansk map is making a much-anticipated return, and we won't have to wait much longer. On March 10, 2025, players will finally get more details about its comeback. Initially, Activision announced last August that Verdansk would be returning to Warzone, but they were only able to set a broad "spring 2025" timeframe. Now, a countdown on the Call of Duty shop has confirmed the specific date, set to expire on March 10, 2025, thanks to a report from InsiderGaming.

The teaser features a tri-color sketch depicting a snowy alpine scene complete with pine trees, a dam, and a crashed plane—a nostalgic nod to the original Warzone sandbox. Fans who have missed Verdansk since its replacement by Verdansk '84 in Season 3 and then Caldera in 2021 will be thrilled. Currently, the only way to revisit this iconic map is through Call of Duty Warzone Mobile. This news comes as a surprise to those who were told in 2021 that "current-day Verdansk is gone and it's not coming back."

In other Call of Duty news, Black Ops 6 Season 2 is now live, bringing with it five new Multiplayer maps: Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind. The season also reintroduces the fan-favorite Gun Game mode, along with new weapons and operators. Don't miss out on the exciting, albeit pricey, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.

Meanwhile, Warzone has seen less new content than planned as the development team focuses on addressing critical issues, including gameplay tuning, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. This effort aims to enhance the overall player experience and ensure the game's stability and enjoyment.
