World of Warships Legends is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a thrilling new event centered around the legendary Sun Wukong! Wargaming's popular naval battle simulator brings the mythical Monkey King and his world to the high seas, offering exclusive rewards for iOS and Android players.

Following the recent Sky: Children of the Light Lunar New Year event, January's gaming landscape is brightened by this popular seasonal celebration. World of Warships Legends joins the festivities with its Sun Wukong-themed event, featuring the iconic character from the beloved classic Journey to the West.

This update includes a campaign for the French Tier VII Premium battleship Picardie, but the star of the show is Sun Wukong. He arrives as a commander available for all nations, alongside his Pan-Asian Tier VII Premium cruiser, the Wukong, and numerous skins inspired by characters from the novel.

Prosperity Awaits!

But that's not all! World of Warships Legends is also bringing back previous Lunar New Year content. The Celestial Guardian commander guise returns, offering daily bonuses, along with ornate skins for various Pan-Asian and Japanese ships. Keep an eye out for Lunar Year '25 crates in the store and in-game, which contain exciting rewards, including the exclusive Japanese Tier VI Premium cruiser Tokachi.

While mobile gaming offers many exciting titles, not every release is a success. As Catherine recently noted in her review of Kardboard Kings, some games unfortunately fall short of expectations.
