Avowed's world is ripe for exploration, and treasure maps offer a compelling way to discover valuable items. This guide details how to locate and utilize Captain Henqua's Spoils treasure map in the Dawnshore region.

Finding the Treasure Map:

To begin your treasure hunt, travel to the lighthouse situated in the western part of Calviger’s Landing within The Living Lands. Ascend the lighthouse using the external ledges and scaffolding. The map, Captain Henqua's Spoils, awaits you at the summit.

Locating Captain Henqua's Spoils:

With the map in hand, follow these directions: Head north along the river from the lighthouse until you reach a broken bridge (northeast of the Old Pargrun Wall fast travel point). Swim to the western opening under the bridge, entering a cave. The chest containing the Wind and Wave shield awaits inside.

The Wind and Wave Shield:

This superb quality shield boasts a 10% movement speed increase and 20% Frost Accumulation resistance. It's significantly more powerful than other early-game shields and can be upgraded to Legendary status using rare materials.
