Torerowa, the multiplayer roguelike dungeon crawler, has launched its fourth open beta today. This phase offers players access to the latest build, packed with the most extensive updates and enhancements yet.
Torerowa blends the intense extraction mechanics of Dark and Darker with the charm of a classic isometric JRPG. Engage in real-time battles against monsters while exploring a vast dungeon, aiming to escape with both treasure and life intact.
This open beta introduces several key additions. Four new item types—Belt, Ring, Amulet, and Charm—debut, with Charms exclusively dropped by monsters and granting unique bonuses. Echo Traits provide over 150 randomized bonuses, allowing up to five per gear piece for deeper customization.
Action-Packed Combat
Dungeon exploration gets a major overhaul in this beta. Maps now start hidden, requiring Sonars found in-game to reveal them. Randomized layouts ensure fresh challenges with every run.
Players can toggle between PvP and PvE modes via the menu to suit their playstyle. Grouped monsters now swarm aggressively, and new traps add extra peril, demanding careful navigation through the dungeon’s deadly hazards.
