Ticket to Ride: Switzerland Expansion Brings New Routes and Challenges!

The popular digital board game, Ticket to Ride, is expanding its routes with the new Switzerland expansion! This exciting addition introduces country-to-country and city-to-country connections, adding a new layer of strategic depth to the gameplay. Now you can build your railroad empire across Switzerland and its neighboring nations.

This holiday season update also includes two new characters and four new route tokens, a delightful gift for Ticket to Ride enthusiasts from developer Marmalade. The new mechanics challenge players to rethink their strategies, making the expansion engaging for both seasoned players and newcomers alike.

Country-to-country tickets task players with connecting specific countries, offering multiple route choices with varying point values. For example, connecting France could lead to Germany, Italy, or Austria, each providing a different reward. City-to-country tickets follow a similar concept, but require linking a city to a country. Strategic planning is key, as each country has a limited number of connection points.

Successful route completion earns points based on the highest-scoring connection for each ticket. Conversely, failing to connect a route results in a point deduction based on the ticket's lowest value.
