Tencent's Martial Arts Masterpiece "The Hidden Ones" Debuts in 2025

Morefun Studios' highly anticipated 3D action game, formerly known as Hitori no Shita: The Outcast, is back with a new name and release date! Now titled The Hidden Ones, this brawling, parkour-filled adventure is set to launch in 2025, with a pre-alpha test slated for January.

Based on the popular webcomic, The Hidden Ones plunges players into modern-day China, following the journey of young martial artist Zhang Chulan. His grandfather's seemingly ordinary techniques become highly sought-after, thrusting him into a world of intense martial arts conflict.

The recently released gameplay trailer (see below) showcases impressive visuals and action sequences, including the secondary protagonist, Wang Ye. Expect thrilling parkour maneuvers across cityscapes, alongside intense 3D martial arts combat, energy projectile exchanges, and brutal brawls.

A New Identity Emerges

Tracking down information on The Hidden Ones has been challenging, given the series' multiple names. However, initial impressions suggest a truly remarkable game from Morefun Studios. The grittier, darker aesthetic stands out, offering a more grounded feel compared to other 3D ARPGs.
