Serial Cleaner, the quirky crime-scene cleanup puzzler, is making a comeback! Originally released in 2019, this title is returning to mobile platforms. Will it be a refined re-release, or simply a modernized port? Only time will tell.

The game throws you into the gritty, yet humorous, 1970s. As Bob Leaner, your job is to discreetly eliminate bodies, clean up blood, and hide evidence of mob violence, all while dodging patrolling police officers.

Our previous review (2019) described the original as promising but unfinished. Developer Plug-In Digital is now self-publishing this mobile version, offering a chance to rectify past shortcomings.

A Fresh Coat of Paint?

Pre-registration is open, with a February 11th, 2025 release date. While significant improvements are hoped for, given the time elapsed since the initial launch, substantial changes might be optimistic.

The core concept remains captivating, but a simple mobile re-release dampens expectations slightly. However, for Android users who missed out, or those experiencing compatibility issues on newer iOS versions, this could be a welcome addition to their mobile game library.
