Shift Up's CFO, Ahn Jae-woo, during the company's June 25th IPO press conference, indicated that a PC version of Stellar Blade is actively being explored as a lucrative avenue to further monetize the popular IP. This decision, according to Ahn, considers the current PS5 market saturation and the growing shift of AAA gaming's primary consumer base towards PCs.

CEO Kim Hyung-Tae corroborated this, confirming the ongoing review of a PC version, while remaining tight-lipped on a release date due to contractual obligations. This aligns with the company's public filings expressing interest in both a PC release and a potential sequel.

Kim emphasized that Stellar Blade's development aimed to cultivate a high-value IP, fostering a global fanbase. He highlighted the deliberate avoidance of potentially brand-damaging microtransactions, a strategy they intend to communicate transparently to their players.

A Future Packed with Updates and Collaborations

The roadmap for Stellar Blade's future updates and DLC is brimming with exciting content. This year will see several updates, including a highly anticipated Photo Mode in August, new costumes in October, and a major collaboration to be revealed later in the year.

Regarding the recent collaboration with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, Kim expressed confidence in creating positive synergy between the two IPs and promised exciting results.
